Rehydration and replenishing carbohydrates that are used up during sports are essential for keeping young athletes on top of their game. Oranges are a great choice of snack at half time as they provide easily digested carbohydrates, water and vitamin C. They give players that all-important energy boost they need for the second half.
Please consider providing fruit (bananas, cut-up oranges, etc - clean and easy to eat) for halftime.
Plan for 48.
Give items to team managers before the game.
It has been tradition to feed the players the night before their games. Freshmen and JV will have team dinners at South on Wednesday nights. Varsity will have team dinners at various locations. Click the "button" below to donate food, money or your time to one of the Freshmen, JV or Varsity dinners. As always, your help and time are greatly appreciated.
